I got a new job!! I had not been liking my job for almost a year and I dreded going everyday. I loved the people I worked with but there was a ton of changes and it just wasnt a happy place to be. Before I graduated with my MSW I started applying for a full time job as a hospital social worker but had no luck due to not having 3 years experience. I was getting really frustrated. I then applied for a job with my same agency and I got it :) It came with a nice raise, 15 miles closer to home, less drama and I get to keep all my vacation time, sick time etc. I am still a manager and have 5 staff. This program focuses on working with families who are at risk for child abuse so this job has new challenges which I am exicited for. Im still working at the hospital every other weekend which I enjoy. I feel so much LESS stress with my new job and its so nice to not have to work from home at night after I get home. I get to spend lots of time with Zac which is what I love to do since I barely got to see him when I was in graduate school :)

New Job

That's great! So, do you work Mon-Fri and every other weekend? You guys still get to see each other at night?

It is so fun to see people from school that have married other people from school. I saw you and Zack and was like... WHAT! That is cool! Im happy for you that you have a job you like more now. If I worked out of the home I would be wanting to do the things you do. That is a job I picture myself having. Someday if I decided to finish school and do it, I will need some words of advice and experience from you :)
yeah for a new job!!! thank goodness- i was wondering how long you could last, that was more than any normal person could handle and you did it all for so long!
Hey Tia! Congrats on the new job. How have you guys been? It looks like you had a blast on your cruise! Scott and I need that! The furthest we get is usually a hotel in Scottsdale. But it's always a blast! Tell Zac we say HI!!
