Mary Kay

My sis in law used to sell Mary Kay but since getting pregnant with twins and being on bedrest she has stopped selling it but has a lot of inventory. Im trying to help her by spreading the word and letpeople know that she wants to get rid of all the inventory she has and she marked down all of the prices. She even said that the marked down prices are negotiable so she can get rid of it!! So if you are a fan of Mary Kay and want to get some stuff let me know. If she has it then she will sell it to you cheap, if she doesnt have it she unfortunately wont be able to order it cuz she no longer is a rep. I got some stuff for my face for $30 that would have sold for $55. Any takers?

ABC's

The first week of internship and school has been CRAZY. My poor husband...I totally snapped at him several times and for absolutely no reason at all(other than being tired..but thats not an excuse). Ive seen the ABCs on several blogs so I thought I too would do it. Here goes!!

A is for age: 29, Ill be be 30 in 2 months...scary, scary!! I feel old, especially when I see my friends and all of their kids. I often find myself saying.... yes, its just me and my husband or yes Ive only been married a year and yes this is my first marriage (gotta love those mormons who ask crazy questions)


B is for Breakfast: Either yoplait yogurt or oatmeal and berries.


C is for Career: Social worker and student. I sometimes love and hate them both!!


D is for my Dog's name: I wish I had a dog :(

You may be wondering why all of the sudden I have 3 posts in one day. Well I start school on Monday, which means my schedule will be hectic and crazy so I most likely wont be able to blog much. I am going to try my best but ya never know. If you dont see new posts from me on a regular basis or if you notice I haven't made comments on your blog now you will know why. I'm somewhat addicted to blogging so I know for sure that I will be reading all of your blogs but I may not be posting comments as much as I would like to. So, don't think that I have forgotten about you because there is no way I could forget any of you!!! I will be working my regular full time job, which right now I HATE, doing an internship at Banner Baywood Hospital for 16 hours a week plus taking a night class. I am so excited to be starting my internship. I am looking forward to learning new skills. I will be working in the Emergency Room so I am sure it will be a new experience everyday. My goal is to be a social worker in NICU, PICU or Labor/Delivery. I wont be working at all with children for my internship (most likely old people) but its ok cuz you often cant become a hospital social worker with out a hospital internship. I figure with my internship and my experience with children that I will be able to get a job in the area I want after I graduate. Im not really looking forward to school but I am rather thrilled that this is my last year. I am not looking forward to my 60 hour + schedule but I know I can do it!!! ( I think I am a little crazy too).

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Zac and I celebrated our one year anniversary last week. Time flies!!! I can't believe we have been married for a year. This truly has been the best year of my life. We have so much fun together and I never thought that marriage would be this great. We decided to go to Vegas for our anniversary...Sin City..why not? We left on the 10th and our anniversary is on the 11th so before we left we decided to eat the defrosted top of our wedding cake. It actually wasnt too bad. It did taste a little freezer burned and dry but the chocolate cream in the middle was still rather tasty, sick, I know. We drove to Vegas and checked into our hotel, our room was excellent and the sound of the Casino thrilled me. We got settled and then hit the strip. I was sooo bummed to learn that the majority of the Casinos no longer allow you to put loose change in them, you have to use cash or buy tickets. One of my favorites parts of the Casinos is hearing the noise of change falling out of the machine, but this time there were none :( We walked to almost every Casino the day we got there and poor Zac was wearing sandals and he hurt his foot. He is such a trooper, his foot was killing him but he kept going every day. There is no way I would have kept going like he did. The next day we were on the strip again. We rode the rollercoaster at NY NY and that was a lot of fun, and made me want to go to Six Flags. We then went to old town Vegas to look for slot machines where you could actually put quarters in, and we found some. I was so excited. We played the slots and quickly lost some money. The next day we went to the Stratesphere. This was my 4th time in Vegas and I had never been. We didnt ride the rides, in fear we would be sick the rest of the day, but we did go to the top. It was really cool and reminded me of Seattle Space Needle. We then went to the Valley of Fire, way cool. Its a state park that has awesome orangish red rocks. This place is beautiful. If you get the chance to go to Vegas, you have to see this place, its about an hour drive and well worth it. The next day we went home and we had to stop at the Hoover Dam. I wanted a picture next to sign now that I am a Hoover. The trip was tons of fun and we didnt want to come home!!!! Especially since school starts next week as well as my lovely internship :(

Different Ways
7. Who's temper is worse? Mine, I get so frustrated with work, school etc. I have yet to loose my temper with him. He keeps his cool when he gets frustrated.
8. Who does the laundry? Both of us. He usually washes it and I fold it.
9. Who does the dishes? Both of us, he loads the dishwasher and I do the ones by hand but so does he :)
10. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does
11. Who's feet are bigger? Sad to say but his. They are so soft and mine are so cracked they look sick
12. Who's hair is longer? Mine, his is shaveddefinitely mine
13. Who's better with the computer? Depends on what needs to be fixed
14. Who mows the lawn? Neither, we live in a town house so we have concrete in the back. If we had a lawn I think he would do it. I have never pushed a lawn mower.
15. Who pays the bills? Me, he still asks what the account # is. I like doing the bills.
16. Who cooks dinner? I do, when I have time and if we BBQ, then he does
17. Who drives when you are together? I drive my car and he drives his truck when he are together.
18. Who pays when you go out to dinner? I give him the date money each month and then he uses the cash to pay....we use the cash system for dates so we dont spend too much.
19. Who's the most stubborn? Me..Im the one with the flaws.

22. Who named your dog? I want a dog but he doesnt like them

24. Who asked who out? I called him and then he cave over to hand out and then he asked me out, then I told him peace out and then a year later we started hanging out again and he again asked me out...thank goodness!!!

Ladies Night

Last night I went out with a group of girls from work. We decided to go out to eat and then to the club. I hadn't been to a club since my batchelorette party a little over a year ago. We went to Buca di Peppo then off to Devils Martini in North Scottsdale. I forgot my ID so I called Zac and he came to the restaurant and brought me my ID. Truly the best husband ever. The night was was so much fun!!! There were 5 of us. 4 married, one single and 3 with children. I haven't been to a club since Ive been married so it was a little awkward at first but we just danced in a group, people watched and laughed at each others dance moves. Clubs have changed over the years. When I was in my early 20's I went to the clubs and guys would come up and dance with you and you would either dance with them or turn your body away from them. Now the guys don't come up to you and start dancing. Its a group of girls dancing with a guy or two in the group or guys dancing solo. Guys mostly talked to the girls at the bar. Only one of us got picked up on...and it wasn't me. :) I got home around 2 and was so tired but it was a blast
