I've wanted a dog for a long time but we have yet to get one. Zac isnt a big fan of dogs and we can never decide on one we both want. I love chocolate labs and Zac said when we get a "real" house we can get a chocolate lab!!! So of course Ive been looking at houses and we always run into the same problem...downsizing and $. I bought our townhouse 5 years ago. I had just graduated from ASU, was making 12.50 an hour, thought I was rich and bought a townhouse. I am so ready to move out but everytime we look at houses I realize that our mortage will almost triple what we pay now and that our house will be smaller. We have 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and all the houses we look at have 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms but at least they have backyards and garages. Hopefully we will be able to move into a "real" house this summer and then we can get our chocolate lab :) :)

House = Dog

I can sooo relate. We need a backyard so bad so that Jacey and Sassy can both go play :-) I realized a few days ago that I've been in my house for almost 7 years now. Sometimes I wish I would have waited until I was married to buy a house :-)

I love chocolate labs!!! That dog is so cute. I hope you find the house you want. You can get some good deals w/ all the foreclosures going on right now.
Totally thought that you got that puppy for a present or something, you tricked me!:P You should be able to get a pretty good deal with how cruddy the market is now. How many Sq. feet do you have now? Are you looking to stay in Mesa? Because in Queen Creek right now there are a TON of houses pretty big for darn cheap!

my sister in law is selling in gilbert....they have a nice house, and back up to a HUGE park!
That puppy looks like my chocolate lab when she was a puppy. I do think I should warn you we have had ours for seven years and she is still as wild as when she was a puppy. Everyone has told me that chocolate labs are the most hyper of all the labs so be ready. They are loveable though.
I hope you can get one, too. Although I like coming to "the ghetto" for bunko ; ). Maybe you should move closer to me, so that I can babysit your baby for you (and I mean your real baby, not your dog baby).
We had a golden lab and he was a wonderful pet!!!!!! Labs are great!!! Good luck looking for a home, you'll find one that will be just right.
Because you are timing it right, it will happen just perfectly. And, can't wait for you to get a puppy. They are SO much fun. (And even more work. :))

It is definatley a buyers market and if you just hold out long enough, you will get a screamin deal!!
Our very favorite dog was a chocolate lab. We left her with some friends for the weekend and she got out----we all cried for days. Now we have a yellow lab and shes just not the same. Good Luck house hunting!
